Glenric Industries LLC ("LiverLens," "we," "us," or "our") operates LiverLens.ai and the LiverLens mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Email address. When you join our waitlist or create an account, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you of the LiverLens app launch and, after launch, to manage your account.
Food scan data. When you scan a food label, barcode, or meal photo, this data is processed to generate your score. We do not permanently store images of food labels or photos you scan.
Usage data. We may collect anonymized, aggregated information about how the app is used (e.g., which features are used most) to improve the product. This data is never linked to your personal identity.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send you a single launch notification email when LiverLens becomes available on the App Store and Google Play
- To operate and improve the LiverLens app after launch
- To respond to your questions or support requests
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
3. Email Communications
By joining our waitlist, you consent to receiving a launch notification email from Glenric Industries LLC. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time. After launch, if you create an account, you may opt in to additional communications such as product updates or health tips — these are always optional.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your email address is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use third-party email service providers (such as Mailchimp or ConvertKit) to manage our mailing list. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not store food images or scan data on our servers beyond what is necessary to generate your score in real time.
5. Third-Party Services
LiverLens uses the following third-party services:
- Anthropic Claude API — AI analysis of food ingredient data. No personally identifiable information is sent to Anthropic.
- Open Food Facts — Free, open-source product database for barcode lookup. No personal information is shared.
- Email service provider — For managing our waitlist communications.
6. Children's Privacy
LiverLens is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@liverlens.ai.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@liverlens.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
8. California Residents (CCPA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at privacy@liverlens.ai.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify waitlist members by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
