These Terms of Use govern your use of LiverLens.ai and the LiverLens mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Glenric Industries LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Educational Purpose Only

LiverLens provides educational nutritional awareness scores based on published nutritional research. All scores, ratings, ingredient assessments, and any other content provided by the Service are for general informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute:

• Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations
• A substitute for professional medical consultation
• Clinical dietary guidance specific to your health condition
• FDA-approved health claims about any food product

The FTC and FDA require us to be clear: LiverLens scores reflect a general educational framework based on published nutritional research, not individualized medical guidance.

2. Not a Medical Device

LiverLens is not an FDA-regulated medical device. It has not been cleared or approved by the FDA. It is a general wellness and nutritional awareness application intended for healthy adults who wish to make more informed food choices.

3. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to base all scoring on published peer-reviewed research, nutritional science evolves continuously. We do not warrant that all information in the Service is complete, accurate, or current. Product ingredient formulations change, and database information (including from Open Food Facts) may not always reflect the most current product version.

4. User Responsibilities

By using LiverLens, you agree that you:

• Will not rely on LiverLens scores as medical advice or as a substitute for professional healthcare guidance
• Will consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you have a diagnosed health condition such as NAFLD, liver disease, diabetes, or kidney disease
• Will use the Service for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Will not attempt to reverse-engineer, reproduce, or commercially exploit the LiverLens scoring methodology

5. Intellectual Property

All content, scoring methodology, AI system prompts, rubrics, written content, and software comprising the LiverLens Service are the intellectual property of Glenric Industries LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. The marks LiverLens™, OrganLens™, and KidneyLens™ are registered with the USPTO under Glenric Industries LLC.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Glenric Industries LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on any content provided by the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.
